Does the Aquarium feature endangered species?
The Audubon Aquarium features several endangered species; however, none are more famous than the white alligator. Currently, only 18 of these pale-skinned reptiles exist in the Louisiana swamp. The aquarium also plays host to a number of rare neon-colored frogs and exotic birds in its Amazon rain forest exhibit.
What is the Caribbean Reef tunnel at the aquarium?
The Caribbean Reef tunnel is a 30-foot-long corridor that allows visitors to view Caribbean sea life from the perspective of deep-sea divers. See some of nature's most fascinating aquatic life swim gracefully overhead, while you stay safe and dry.
