The Creole Suites
Built in the 1840s, the Creole Suites retain their original structure, authentic wood beam ceilings & brick walls. A highlight of the buildings are the 19th century winding staircases of original cypress wood. These buildings served as slave quarters for the Greek Revival townhomes, which face Dauphine Street, designed by famed architect James Gallier.The Creole Suite buildings offer secluded patio areas on the ground level - perfect for relaxing with friends and family - as well as balconies on the second and third floors.
